The camera arrived very quickly and I’ve been impressed with the correspondence about the camera from Kidamento. It looks amazing to me, easy to use and with very clear icons on the screen, but I have yet to give it to the three-and-a-half year old potential photographer, so I can’t comment at this stage on how child-friendly it actually is!

We gifted this to our 5yr old for our trip to Mexico. She just loved snapping pictures and now likes to play photographer! Great purchase for us!

Different to adveritised

Kidamento talks a lot about the USB lanyard, but the version I got had a cheap flimsy ribbon lanyard and a short, useless USB cable. Now they want $10 on their website for the cable!

We’ve discontinued advertising the 3-in-1 lanyard for quite some time now. We made the decision to switch to a softer, more durable, and also adjustable strap with a safety clip, and a dedicated higher speed USB-C cable to enhance the user experience, in recent production batches.

It seems there might have been a misunderstanding about the intent of this change. The new lanyard and USB-C cable actually cost us more to manufacture than the 3-in-1 lanyard. Our goal is provide a better experience for the little budding photographers.

The USB-C cable will soon be phased out once the current inventory is sold out.
